PPMS Alert System & Intrusion Alarm for Schools

What is a wireless alert system used for in a school?

An incident in a classroom (intrusion, violent behaviour, medical episode) calls for an immediate, discreet alert, without the teacher leaving their pupils or looking for a phone. The ServiceSOS™ SOS alert button placed in every classroom, at the gate and at reception instantly notifies management, school staff and, where needed, the whole facility.

The device supports a safety plan: a single, recognisable signal, received simultaneously by all equipped staff. A self-contained on-site paging system, with no wifi or wiring between buildings.

Everyday benefits

  • Alert triggered from the classroom with no phone to pick up
  • Management, school staff and the lodge notified at the same time
  • Recognisable signal, distinct from a break-time bell
  • Buildings and temporary structures connected with no trenching, expandable

Which ServiceBip equipment should you choose?

The ServiceSOS™ SOS alert button equips every classroom, the gate and reception; the ServiceBip™ wireless call button handles everyday calls (nurse’s office, school staff). Management and supervisors wear the ServiceWatch™ receiver watch; a ServiceScreen™ display at the lodge and a ServiceLight™ light flash in the corridors relay the alert. The link is direct radio on the 433.92 MHz band (short-range radio devices per ANFR), with no wifi, no wiring and no subscription; range reaches 300 m in open field and up to 2 km with the ServiceAmpli™ repeater.

Frequently asked questions

Can the alert be distinguished from a routine call?

Yes: the SOS button sends a priority signal, displayed differently (“ALERT”) and received by all relevant staff.

Does the system work across several buildings?

Yes: a ServiceAmpli™ repeater relays the signal from one building to another, up to 2 km in open field.
