Wireless Security & Anti-Assault Alert Button

What is a wireless alert button used for in security?

At a reception desk, checkout or counter, an employee may face an assault, intrusion or medical episode. The discreet ServiceSOS™ SOS alert button, placed under the counter or worn on the body, triggers a priority alert with no visible gesture: the security team and management are notified immediately, with the location.

For a lone agent on patrol, lone worker protection applies: an alert button and, if needed, a tracker that flags abnormal immobility. A self-contained on-site paging system, independent of the IT network, with relays for large sites.

Everyday benefits

  • Assault / intrusion alert triggered discreetly, with no word spoken
  • Security team and managers notified at the same time, with the zone
  • Agent on patrol protected, never out of reach of an alert
  • Priority signal, distinct from a routine service call

Which ServiceBip equipment should you choose?

The ServiceSOS™ SOS alert button equips exposed stations; the patrol agent wears the ServiceWatch™ receiver watch and, on larger sites, the ServiceGPS™ GPS tracker. A ServiceScreen™ display at the security desk centralises and timestamps alerts; the ServiceLight™ light flash makes the alert visible in the control room. The link is direct radio on the 433.92 MHz band (short-range radio devices per ANFR), with no wifi, no wiring and no subscription; range reaches 300 m in open field and up to 2 km with the ServiceAmpli™ repeater.

Frequently asked questions

Is the alert really discreet?

Yes: a single press, with no audible confirmation on the transmitter side. The alert only appears on the security team’s receivers.

Can an SOS alert be told apart from a routine service call?

Yes: the ServiceSOS™ sends a priority signal displayed differently (colour, “ALERT” label) on the receivers.
