What is a wireless call system used for in a nursing home?
In a nursing home, a resident may need help anywhere: bedroom, bathroom, common room, therapeutic garden. A wired nurse-call system often only covers the bedroom and bathroom. The wireless ServiceBip system fills the gap wherever wiring is missing, and follows the caregiver on the move instead of forcing them back to the nurses’ station.
The resident, patient or care assistant presses the button; the call is sent immediately to the team’s receivers with the number and location (“ROOM 214”, “BATHROOM 3”). It’s an independent on-site paging system: it doesn’t conflict with the existing wired system.
