Description détaillée

What is the ServiceGPS™ tracker for?

The ServiceGPS™ is a wearable GPS alert tracker. It responds to any situation where a person may need to be located and rescued quickly: disorientation of an elderly person (Alzheimer’s disease), a child wandering off, a medical episode or accident affecting a lone worker, or an alert device for public bodies as part of a safety plan (PPMS).

Unlike the radio call buttons in the ServiceBip™ range, the ServiceGPS™ communicates over the GSM network: it works anywhere there is mobile coverage, with no distance limit to recipients.

How does the ServiceGPS™ work?

Three alert modes:

  • Simple call: pressing the side button places a voice call to saved contacts.
  • SOS call: the SOS button triggers a series of 3 location SMS + 3 calls to pre-set recipients, one after another, until someone answers.
  • Automatic detection: in the event of a fall (tilt > 45° for 30 seconds or more) or prolonged lack of movement, the alert is sent automatically.

Each SMS contains a clickable link to the location on a map. A discreet remote listening function lets a relative assess the person’s surroundings before intervening.

Who is it for?

Elderly people and home care. Keeping a disoriented person’s outings safe, alerting family or carers in the event of a fall.

Children. Locating and reaching a child, triggering a call when needed.

Lone workers. Protecting an employee working alone (maintenance, security, operations), in industry or on remote sites.

Public bodies and institutions. Mobile alert device as part of a safety plan (PPMS), see our use cases in security and school security.

The ServiceGPS™ uses the 4G mobile network. Two options:

Frequently asked questions

Is a subscription required?

Is fall detection automatic?

Yes. If the device remains tilted more than 45° for at least 30 seconds, or in the absence of movement for a prolonged period, the alert is triggered with no action from the user.

What is the range?

There is no distance limit: as long as the device has mobile network coverage, it can alert recipients wherever they are.
