What is a wireless call button used for on a private beach?
On a private beach or beach club, service spans dozens of metres of sand: sun loungers, VIP areas, bar, restaurant, pontoon. A guest who has to get up to order a drink is one drink not sold. The ServiceBip™ wireless call button mounted on loungers and tables lets guests call a server without leaving their spot.
The server receives the location number on their receiver and heads there directly. A fully self-contained on-site paging system, suited to a seasonal setup put up and taken down every year.
Everyday benefits
- Drinks served whenever guests want, with no need to move
- Remote VIP areas and loungers covered with no fixed installation
- Seasonal equipment: set up in spring, put away in autumn
- Range suited to large beaches, extendable with the repeater
Which ServiceBip equipment should you choose?
The ServiceBip™ wireless call button (water- and sand-resistant housing, anti-theft mount) equips loungers, VIP areas and tables. Servers wear the ServiceWatch™ receiver watch to receive calls across the whole beach; the ServiceLight™ light flash at the bar makes the call visible in bright sunlight. The link is direct radio on the 433.92 MHz band (short-range radio devices per ANFR), with no wifi, no wiring and no subscription; range reaches 300 m in open field and up to 2 km with the ServiceAmpli™ repeater.
Frequently asked questions
Does the range cover the whole beach?
300 m in open field covers most venues; the ServiceAmpli™ repeater extends the signal up to 2 km for very large beaches.
Does the button withstand sand and seawater?
The housing is splash-resistant. Rinsing with fresh water at the end of the season extends its lifespan.
